University Entry Scheme
If you are in your pre-final year of engineering, you can join the Indian Air
Force through the University Entry Scheme. You will be entitled to a stipend
during your final year. UES Candidates granted Provisional Short
Service Commission under UES
for Permanent
Commission will entitled to a stipend, only after successful
completion of traing , which is equivalant to minimum of basic pay of a
Flying Officer ( Excluding allowance) during the final year period, payable
in lump sum at the end of training. The basic pay of a Flying Officer is
Rs. 8250/- per month. The University Entry scheme is open only for men.
Only men can use this mode of entry to apply to the Indian Air Force. |
